I couldn't put this book down!! I read it in three days, and I went through so many emotions from crazy, sad and happy! It's so raw, so real, and the beauty of the gospel is so beautifully woven. Rachel's truly found joy in the Lord is displayed throughout the book. I was in awe of her strength and tenacity. I praise God for this story and testimony being made public. All glory to God for such a tragedy.

I just finished this entire book in one day! I couldn't risk it down. It's impossible to know everything that's right, even though it's not okay. An amazing story and definitely a must read! My eyes were definitely set from all of this but were shown like God every step of the way with her!

What a wonderful book! Painful heart, but touching in so many ways. From a mother's heart, everything that happens to her child is always hard to go through, but going through what Rachel and Ricardo had to go through triumphs on so many levels of pain. Your trust in the Lord at every step is so inspiring. This is a must read!

It's horrible to hear that your child has been removed from your home without a legitimate investigation. I have no experience with CPS, but Rachel's book (and the real-life drama) lets the reader know that the system isn't always there to protect children. I couldn't imagine her struggle if she didn't know that her Savior loved her and had her back. A story of faith, unfailing love, hope, miracles and justice. This story needed to be told and let it be a beacon of strength and hope for other parents who are dealing with CPS. If you know someone in a battle with CPS, please recommend this book to them, or better yet, buy them a book.

This real faith story is amazing. This is really happening and Rachel isn't the only one. This has been a problem for a long time and it's time for people to start talking. Not to mention this is one of the best written books I've read in a long time. I'm so glad she had the courage to tell. Absolutely amazing and God inspiring.

Rachel does a magnificent job of telling her story. She shares her experience with love, concern and truth. I highly recommend her book and I guarantee you won't be able to put it down. It is an important matter to be aware of....

I learned this from the "grandmother" in this story in our Bible study group. We were talking about heartache and injustice in the world, but God can be trusted! All she said was that her daughter wrote a book soon about the incredible real-life disappointments she faced. I said I wanted to read your daughter's story to find out what happened. I couldn't put it down. Rachel writes in a way that makes every word count, but she forces you to keep reading, you're so fascinated! It is both tragic and inspiring. Rachel so poignantly and factually describes the hand of God in action!! Evil does not prevail when God is in control.

I remember thinking that the situation must be sad for someone to give up on a couple of adorable 1-year-old and 3-year-old Hispanic sisters; adopted by the owner of the studio where my daughter danced and her husband. I was happy for them, but sad for their biological parents. Could these adoptees and their natural parents have been victims of similar harm and abuse from the foster care system?
Thank you Rachel for exposing the shocking evil, corruption and abuse by the same government agencies that still operate today!! With the conscience that Rachel boldly exposes and her faith in the power of God, fewer families can be forced to endure sometimes irrevocable heartaches.

Wow. I had no idea how broken the system is when it comes to child welfare. As you read this book, you can feel Rachel's pain and sadness. It touched my mother's heart. This is really something I can only imagine and hope I never experience.

This book also illuminates the POWER OF PRAYER! With god everything is possible. In his time. "Fractured Hope" tells a harrowing story and superbly illustrates what God is like when we trust His plan, His process, and His timing. Spoiler alert: darkness does not win in this book!!

This book is so many feelings wrapped up in one. When a child is put into the system it is 100% about the child and while yes it is so important and in the best interest of the child to focus on them what happens when they take the child in traumatic circumstances force more trauma and then use that child for fostered adoption? What happens when the agency that was created to protect children starts using them as pawns? I think this book opens the door to the more sinister side of CPS and the toll it takes on a biological parent, the family and the community around that child. Although I believe there are some cases that require social assistance. I believe most are not, and this book shows where that corruption goes.

Firstly. THANK YOU Rachel for having the strength and courage to write her story and the truth behind the false allegations of child abuse.

When I started reading your book Fractured Hope, immediately from the first chapter, I got chills. I think because I can relate to her story.

Here are some things I'll never forget that I highlighted in just the first two chapters.
1. I have a seizure
2. Lucas, who was now 7 weeks old
3. Babies cried a lot
4. Giving you skin to skin
5. He was super agitated and wouldn't pick up
6. and once again he rejected
7. He doesn't eat
8. His eyes were rolling back in this head
9. We immediately went to the emergency room
10. Your child has a skull fracture and an intracerebral hemorrhage

These words are so powerful and have a different meaning for those who have or are experiencing false allegations of abuse.

I will continue to share your book and story so you can help other falsely accused families.

Which book! I started reading this book last night and it was so informative that I finished it in less than 24 hours.
I recommend this book to anyone who is going through a battle with the CPS and the family court system. You have to read this, you will get something out of it no matter what stage of your case you are in. As a reader who doesn't know this family, I believe the key to their victory in enduring to the end was only because of our Heavenly Father's grace and love.

Thank you, Rachel, for putting your heart and soul into reliving a tragedy, all so you can help another family overcome this evil giant.

To our God be all the glory. You are a victorious family in our Lord. Vindication is truly His if we endure to the end.

This real story is amazing! It is unthinkable for a family to go through and support what the Brunos did. But seeing the thread of hope throughout the book is so powerful. God is sovereign and is on the throne so in the end his will is done. A story of hope, a story of miracles, a story of justice, a story of faith, a story of resistance, a story of tears, a story of God's divine grace. "Fractured Hope" is definitely a must-read. I knew this story from the newspapers, but I wasn't prepared for the strong emotions of reading it in detail from the author's perspective. Be prepared to cry - in addition to being shocked, outraged and inspired. WOW. It's a quick read (less than 200 pages) and you won't be able to put it down. It's as fascinating as any bestselling legal thriller, except it's all TRUE. I don't want to give anything away, but you have to know that what happened to this beautiful, sweet family is a perfect storm of incompetence and pure evil... BUT GOD!!! His merciful sovereign hand was in control at all times. I highly recommend it, especially if you are a parent or parent-to-be. Yes, it's a shocking account, but what surprised me the most was the author's constant trust and confidence in the Lord, and in the Lord.

What Rachel Bruno went through with her family is a true demonstration of FRACTURED HOPE. My heart hurts for Rachel and her family. And I am angry with the horrors they experienced at the hands of the very people who were supposed to be those we feel safe with. This story is not for the faint of heart, but yet, it is a story that will help build your faith and show you that there is always Hope in Christ.
